This Privacy Policy explains how Just Skincare ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you visit or use this website.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with applicable South African law, including the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA").
By using this website or submitting information to us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
This website (https://justskincare.co.za) is operated independently by a Justine Consultant and Sales Leader. It is not the official corporate website of Justine.
2. Information we collect
We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:
- complete an online Justine application or enquiry form;
- contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp;
- request information about becoming a Justine Consultant;
- subscribe to communications or updates; or
- otherwise communicate with us.
Depending on how you interact with the website, the information we may collect can include:
- your full name;
- email address;
- cell and WhatsApp numbers;
- nationality;
- residential, delivery or collection address details;
- whether you wish to apply for a credit limit;
- a copy of your identity document and a photograph of you holding it ("identity verification documents");
- information relevant to your Justine Consultant application; and
- communications and enquiries you send to us.
You should only provide information that is necessary for the purpose for which it is requested.
3. Identity verification documents
Your identity document and selfie are special and sensitive information. We collect them only to verify your identity for your Justine Consultant application and to prevent fraud.
These documents are stored in private, encrypted storage that is not publicly accessible. Only authorised people involved in processing your application can view them, after signing in through an access-controlled system. We do not attach your documents or application details to emails.
4. Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, certain technical information may be collected automatically by our website or hosting provider. This may include your IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, the referring website, and the date and time of your visit.
This information is used to operate, secure and improve the website and to prevent abuse of our forms.
5. Cookies
Our website uses only the cookies and similar technologies needed for it to work securely. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
6. Why we use your personal information
We may process your personal information to:

We will not use personal information for purposes that are incompatible with the purpose for which it was collected, unless permitted or required by law.
7. Justine applications
If you apply to become a Justine Consultant through this website, the information you provide will be used to process and facilitate your application.
Your application is submitted to Justine (and the relevant Justine entity) for registration, and the information necessary for that process will be shared with them. Justine may conduct a credit assessment where you have asked for a credit limit.
Submitting an application through this website does not by itself guarantee acceptance as a Justine Consultant. Final approval is subject to Justine's requirements and processes.
8. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary, including to:
- Justine or relevant Justine entities, to process your application;
- website hosting, storage and technical service providers;

We take reasonable steps to ensure that third parties processing personal information on our behalf maintain appropriate safeguards.
9. Third-party services
This website uses third-party service providers for hosting, secure file storage, content management and email delivery. These providers process information on our behalf and in accordance with their own privacy and security commitments.
10. Direct marketing
We will only send you direct electronic marketing where you have agreed to receive it or where the law otherwise allows. You may ask us to stop at any time by contacting us or by using the unsubscribe option in the communication.
11. How we protect your information
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, damage, unauthorised access or disclosure, alteration and unlawful processing. These include encrypted connections, private storage for identity documents and access controls for anyone reviewing applications.
No method of transmitting or storing information electronically can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If we become aware of a security compromise involving your personal information, we will take the steps required by law, including notifying you and the Information Regulator where required.
12. How long we keep personal information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as long as required by law. Identity verification documents are deleted once your application has been processed and they are no longer needed, unless we are required to keep them for longer.
When personal information is no longer required, we securely delete, destroy or de-identify it.

- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion of information where legally permissible;
- object to certain processing of your personal information;
- object to direct marketing;

14. Children's information
Justine Consultants must be at least 18 years old. This website is not intended to collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review and remove it.
15. International transfers
Some of our service providers may process or store information outside South Africa. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the transfer complies with POPIA, including that the recipient is subject to adequate data-protection safeguards.
